How to connect HeyClients to Claude (MCP)

Connect HeyClients to Claude to find contacts, check appointments, and work with your CRM through conversation.

HeyClients connects through LeadConnector, so you’ll see that name when signing in.

Before you start

Have your HeyClients login ready and open Claude in your browser.

Claude supports custom connectors on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. Free accounts can add one custom connector. Team and Enterprise accounts require an organisation owner to add the connector first. Claude’s official guidance.

Step 1: Add your HeyClients connector

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors. Depending on your interface, you may find Connectors under Settings.
Click + → Add custom connector.
Enter HeyClients as the name, if prompted.
Paste this into the Remote MCP server URL field:

https://services.leadconnectorhq.com/mcp/anthropic/v2

Click Add.

This is LeadConnector’s official Claude endpoint. It connects through a sign-in process called OAuth, so you don’t need an API key or Private Integration Token. LeadConnector’s official setup guide.

Step 2: Connect your account

Click Connect next to the connector.
Follow the LeadConnector sign-in prompts.
Select your HeyClients business. It may be called a sub-account or location.
Review the requested permissions and approve access.

Claude can use only the accounts and permissions you authorise.

Step 3: Start using HeyClients

Start a new conversation.
Click + → Connectors.
Turn on your HeyClients connector.
Try this request:

Use HeyClients to show me the five most recently added contacts.

You can also ask:

“Show me my upcoming appointments.”
“Find the contact with this email address: [email address].”
“Show me the opportunities in my sales pipeline.”

Available actions depend on your permissions and the supported tools. Review requests to change records or send messages before approving them.

Troubleshooting

I’m using Claude Team or Enterprise.
An organisation owner must open Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web and add the server URL above. Members can then find the connector under Customize → Connectors and click Connect.

My HeyClients business isn’t listed, or I can’t sign in.
Contact HeyClients support with the step you reached and the error message shown.

Claude isn’t accessing HeyClients.
Check that the connector is connected, enable it in the conversation, and include “Use HeyClients” in your request.

How do I disconnect?
Open Customize → Connectors, find the connection, and select Remove, or open its three-dot menu to find that option.
