HeyClients Guide Privacy Policy

HeyClients Guide is a Chrome extension developed by HeyClients LLC. It provides guided tours inside the HeyClients platform to help coaches complete their onboarding.

The extension collects the following information when you use it on the HeyClients platform:

• Your HeyClients account location ID, which is read from the URL of the page you are on
• Which guided tours you have started, completed, or abandoned
• Your popup checklist state (which items you have ticked)
• Your popup section preferences (which sections are expanded or collapsed)

We do not collect your name, email address, passwords, browsing history, or any data from websites other than the HeyClients platform.

We use this data to sync your onboarding progress to your HeyClients account so your checklist stays up to date across sessions, and so the HeyClients team can support you during onboarding.

Your data is sent to HeyClients LLC's helpdesk system at help.heyclients.io. It is not sold, rented, or shared with any third parties.

Tour completion state, checklist preferences, and your location ID are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. Progress data is also stored securely on HeyClients LLC's servers.

All data transmitted by this extension is sent over HTTPS.

If you would like to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, please contact us at support@heyclients.io.

If you are located in the European Union, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.
